The
assembled bumper system consists of the complete main bumper with two bare
swing outs. These swing outs will accept a variety of accessories that
can be ordered separately.
*Main Shell- Constructed of 3/16” cold rolled steel formed with custom
bull nose bending dies create an elegant high clearance profile.
*Side protection- Protecting the rear overhang is a high clearance, laser
cut, ¼” steel formed plate style skid surface wrapped under the
body and attached to the frame.
*Towing crossmember- Strong square tube frame crossmember welded to a high
clearance tow receiver tube sunk into the main shell of the bumper looks
good, performs better and is stronger than the stock towing accessory.
*Modular Swing outs- Our swing out solution is the key to the trickness
of this system. We start by sinking our HD spindles into the main shell
of the bumper and welding to the side plates of the bumper for strength.
The arms on the swing outs have two fully welded sleeves for the accessories
to bolt to. You can have the choice of which accessories to carry or leave
at home. Built in stops on the spindle shell create a clean integrated
look eliminating bulky external apparatus welded on as an afterthought.
*Powerful gas shocks allow the swing outs to open in a controlled manner
and hold them open on side hills.
*The latching mechanism comes standard as a 4000 lb. over center domestic
industrial clamp guaranteed not to fail. New upgraded latches are available.
Made in Sweden, these latches industrial design is superior and the action
is a bit better than the domestic latches. Rated for 3500 lb. $100 upgrade.
